COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
Devyn Bakewell serves as Communications Director where she manages the day-to-day aspects of media requests and engagements. A resilient, dedicated, and hardworking Howard University alumna, Devyn previously served as Assistant Managing Editor of LA Sentinel, the weekly black-owned newspaper in CD10 established in 1933, with a readership of 125,000. Devyn is also a published author who discovered her love for writing at an early age.
